I run Desko from our warehouse in Peterborough. We import our frames from the same factory that supplies several better-known European desk brands, and I decided early that we would compete on price and straight answers rather than on badge or a permanent fake sale. I have built, loaded and lived with every frame we sell — the V1, V2 and V3 — at both sitting and standing heights, in every finish we stock. Most of what is in these guides came from questions customers actually asked me on the phone: how high should it be, will it wobble, do I need three stages, which size fits my room. Where I have measured something myself I say so, and where I am relying on the manufacturer's specification I say that too. If you think something here is wrong, tell me and I will correct it.
