Which one do I need?
Most people need both, and they solve different halves of the same problem. The tray holds what sits under the desktop — the power brick, the extension block, the loops of spare cable. The spine handles the drop to the floor, so the run to your socket stays in one tidy column instead of swinging as the desk rises. If you only buy one, start with the tray.
